Presenter: Keith Wohlfert, Communications Coordinator, Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative
When used properly, electricity is a safe and efficient energy source that powers our modern world. Most of us use it every day to light our homes and make them more comfortable. It is an invaluable part of our work place, too. For all of its good qualities, it’s important for us to always remember the awesome force of electricity. Forgetting basic safety rules with electricity can result in serious harm or even death.
Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative offers classes on electric safety. Lessons learned in classroom discussions are reinforced with their electric safety demonstrator used to show the potentially harmful effects of electricity. These safety programs are perfect for people of all ages, from elementary school students to adults, and specialty groups such as emergency response personnel.
