This Friday, October 27th, we'll be having a Teen Scary Movie Night! (3:30-5:45 PM) - We'll have options for teens to vote on, including ones that might be cheesy (Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Tremors), ones that might be funny (Ghostbusters 2016, Gremlins), ones that might be scary (Sixth Sense, The Ring, Insidious), and one that might be a bit gruesome! (Drag Me to Hell, Exorcism of Emily Rose). We'll let the teens decide which kindof scary movie they want to watch to get in the Halloween mood! All movies will be PG-13. There will, of course, be plenty of snacks (and candy!) and teens should definitely feel free to DRESS UP in their best Halloween duds! Just make sure it's "library-appropriate"!

Also, as a reminder, we're still running our Fall Teen Reading Program 2017 until December! Trying to get as many teens involved as possible. All they need to do is go to www.wandooreader.com/portagelibrary/fall-2017-teen-readers, register, start logging minutes they read throughout the Fall & Winter, and put the tickets they'll earn in our random drawing prize jars at the library! It's that simple!Date and Time
