POSITION: DELIVERY, WAREHOUSE, AND SERVICE TEAM MEMBER
START DATE: IMMEDIATELY
SCHEDULE: PART-TIME, APPROX. 20 HOURS/WEEK, WITH POTENTIAL FOR FULL-TIME ADVANCEMENT
COMPENSATION: NEGOTIABLE UPON HIRE

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•             DELIVERY, INSTALLATION, AND PLACEMENT OF PRODUCT IN HOME AND IN STORE
•             SIMPLE REPAIR AND ASSEMBLY OF FURNITURE
•             RECEIVE INCOMING MERCHANDISE: ACCURATELY AND SAFELY RECEIVING OFF VENDOR TRUCKS, PREP FOR DELIVERY, AND WAREHOUSE/INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
•             PROFESSIONALLY GREET AND COMMUNICATE WITH CUSTOMERS
•             HAVE AN UNDERSTANDING OF MAPPING ROUTES, BASIC MAPPING SKILLS,

THE PORTAGE FURNITURE STORE IS A FAMILY-OWNED AND OPERATED RETAILER OF SOME OF THE TOP LINES OF FURNITURE IN THE INDUSTRY. LOCATED IN DOWNTOWN PORTAGE SERVING THE GREATER SOUTH CENTRAL WISCONSIN AREA.
TRAINING: PROSPECTIVE CANDIDATES WILL BE THOROUGHLY TRAINED IN-HOUSE AND BE COMPLETELY UP TO SPEED ON TECHNIQUES, PRODUCT KNOWLEDGE, AND STORE EXPECTATIONS.
