DESCRIPTION:We're in hot pursuit of the hottest place on the hillside: the Agency blacksmith shop. Roll up your sleeves and dig with us into our site's buried history! Come prepared to get dirty\, learn a lot\, and have fun!\n\n \n\nWho may participate? ...and how?\n\nYou and your family are invited to work right alongside the archaeologists. Try your hand at a variety of tasks from digging to screening and more. Children ages 5 and up are welcomed to join in the fun with the direct supervision of a parent\, guardian\, or other responsible adult.\n\n\n\nA membership (individual or family) is required in order to participate. We strongly recommend that you purchase your membership ahead of time\, although memberships may also be purchased on the days of the excavation. Bring your membership card to the event.\n\n\n\nGeneral Engineering Company of Portage is sponsoring the dig.
