DESCRIPTION:Landscapes & Wildflowers\n\nBY STEVEN BROCK\n\n"The subject matter of many of my paintings will be flowers in a natural setting\, as well as midwestern landscapes. Recent work explores vibrant\, contrasting colors designed to create a visual experience for the viewer. Early career classical figurative realism has been replaced by landscape paintings and still-life painting\, but my techniques remain true to classical realism. I have been producing realistic paintings for almost forty years while incorporating design elements influenced by modern abstract and non-objective painting.
