DESCRIPTION:Beginning in June\, the Portage Summer Food Program will begin its' 5th year of providing food for the young people in the Portage community.\n\n \n\nThis summer we will be serving at 4 sites - Portage Library\, Goodyear Park (splash pad / skatepark)\, Lincoln Park and Sanborn Park (a new location).\n\n \n\nWe wanted to make you aware of the upcoming Portage Summer Food Program "Volunteer Training."\n\n \n\nThe Training will take place on Tuesday\, May 29 ... 6:00 p.m. .... at the Columbia County Administration Building (112 E. Edgewater Street) ... Room #115\n\n \n\nDuring this training\, we will be sharing the duties and responsibilities of those who volunteer at the 4 sites where summer lunches will be served as well as answer any questions you may have regarding the program or the sites.\n\n \n\nYou will also have an opportunity to "sign up" for a particular site - day - time right there on the spot!\n\n \n\nIf you cannot make this training\, please contact Pat Wagner (UW-Extension)\, Dawn Foster (Portage Library) or Pastor Dave Hankins.
