Roadside Facility Crew Worker

Role and Responsibilities
Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Northwoods Personnel Policy Manual and other procedures provided by Rest Area and the Dept. of Transportation. Treat others with respect and courtesy at all times. Follow directions from supervisors for cleaning and general work. Follow established procedures for routine tasks. Maintain a safe work area, and report any safety problems to your supervisor immediately. Clean restrooms and lobbies, remove snow and ice from walkways, collect garbage and recycling, and pick up litter and weed from outdoor areas.
Preferred Abilities and Skills
Accurate in following directions. Willingness to learn from training and apply what you have learned.
Physical Requirements:  This is a physical job, which requires the employee to be physically active all day, including frequent bending, reaching, walking, standing, and lifting 60 pounds infrequently and 25 pounds frequently.  Ability to tolerate inside and outside conditions from daily work, including shoveling snow in the winter.
Other Requirements:  Applicant must be at least 18 years of age or older.  Ability to pass an extensive background check.
