SCHOOLS ONLY PERFORMANCES-by PRE-ARRANGED RESERVATION ONLY-contact PCA if you a teacher/school interested in attending. First reserved, first served! When She Had Wings is the story of a young girl named B racing against time to achieve her dream of flying before she becomes "too old" to remember how. She's turning 10 years old in just a few days, so time is ticking. In her whimsical Nebraska backyard, with a tree house turned cockpit, she rejects pesky gravity and the realities of young adulthood that her dad is always reminding her of, and spends her days attempting to take off away from it all: from her parent's separation, a summer camp for overweight children that she dreads, a stay at mom's house that looms, and from gravity itself! Then one night, a summer storm comes, and out of the lightning emerges a figure: part woman, part bird, and maybe, just maybe...Amelia Earhart, B's role model and hero! The two become fast friends and resolve to begin B's, and compete Amelia's flight...whether they land safely or not. September school shows available for booking now!
