We are looking for a Lead Early Childhood Teacher and an Elementary Education teacher to work full time or part-time at our YoungStar “five” star center. Teachers are responsible for the planning, preparation, and implementation of all classroom activities. A primary goal is to provide a safe, nurturing, and educational environment where the child’s self-concept is enhanced, independence encouraged, and individuality respected. Role and Responsibilities: Follow all policies and procedures outlined in the Northwoods Personnel Policy Manual and other procedures provided by Rest Area and the Dept. of Transportation. Treat others with respect and courtesy at all times. Follow directions from supervisors for cleaning and general work. Follow established procedures for routine tasks. Maintain a safe work area, and report any safety problems to your supervisor immediately. Clean restrooms and lobbies, remove snow and ice from walkways,
Role and Responsibilities:
Follow all policies outlined in the Northwoods Personnel Policy Manual, and all other published Northwoods, Rest Area Maintenance, and Dept. of transportation (DOT) policies and procedures. Treat others with respect and courtesy at all times. Safely transport Roadside Facilities Maintenance crews as necessary using Northwoods vehicles. POSITION PURPOSE
Maintain the assigned Rest Area (inside and outside) in a clean, orderly, safe, and sanitary condition through your own work with focus on landscape maintenance and improvements. Follow all policies outlined in the Northwoods Personnel Policy Manual, and all other published Northwoods, RAM, and DOT policies and procedures. Treat employees, clients, and the general public with respect and courtesy at all times. Garden, weed, mow, trim, prune and plant in Spring and Summer. Remove snow and Come be part of the new Green Berry Smoothies at 2933 New Pinery Road in Portage.

Areas may include but are not limited to: personal hygiene and grooming, housekeeping, laundry/ clothing care, functional academics, time, money and shopping, food preparation and cooking, communication skills, social skills, health awareness, home safety/emergency, and mobility. River Haven Homeless Shelter is in need of a live-in House Assistant for the shelter.
