The American Cancer Society Relay for Life of Portage will be taking place at the Portage High School Track on July 18-19, 2014. This free event is open to the public and everyone is encouraged to attend. Everyone has been touched by cancer in one way or another, whether through a family member, neighbor, friend or co-worker Please join us in celebrating those who have beat cancer, remembering those who we have lost and joining those who continue to battle this disease! The event will start at 6pm on Friday night and all cancer survivors are invited to a special reception in their honor just after the opening ceremony. The Community is welcome to enjoy music, food, fun, entertainment and activities.

The Relay For Life of Portage supports the American Cancer Society by helping people get well, stay well, finding cures and fighting back against cancer.
Luminary and caregiver bags in honor and remembrance of those who battle this disease and the caregivers who support their fight are available at Hair Works+ in downtown Portage for a suggested donation of $5.00 each. Bags can be decorated and returned to Hair Works+ or brought to the track by 6 pm on the day of the event.
