Auditions The BFG (Big Friendly Giant) brings the fantastical characters of Roald Dahl to life in this positively scrumptious story of a 24-foot tall giant and a young orphan named Sophie. The storytelling is imaginative and adventurous, utilizing both live performers and puppets! Coming to Portage Center for the Arts August 18-20 and 25-27, 2017 with special school performances September 12 and 13 Auditions will be held at Portage Center for the Arts June 12 and 13 at 6pm. Callbacks will be scheduled on an as needed basis. Auditions are open to youth actors ages 10 and up. Cast size can range from 8 to 20 characters. Casting, especially lead and supporting roles, will be based on auditions and availability to rehearse starting in June. Evening rehearsals: 6 - 9:30pm; afternoons as needed.
