Canal Days 2015

Canal Days Parade at 10AM.  All area schools, churches, businesses, clubs and private parties are encouraged to celebrate the twenty sixth Canal Days Festival and there is no entry fee.
Parade Route: Begins at Pauquette Park and proceeds along Conant Street, turns right onto Wisconsin Street and then left onto Cook Street and ends at Wilz Drug.

   
Other planned events include music, food vendors, face painting, reenactment (pre 1840), canoe rides and race, canal tours and historic downtown tours.

Music - at the corner of DeWitt and Cook Street (grassy area)
Tyler Preston (solo acoustic guitar/singer) - Noon - 1:30pm
Boo Radley(duo acoustic dobro/singer percusion) - 1:50pm - 3:20pm
The Lower 5th (duo acoustic guitar/singers) - 3:30pm - 5pm

 Portage Boy Scout Troop 70 and Kiwanis Club from 11:30-2:30 to fold and fly paper airplanes. Canal Days- Saturday May 30th at Portage Pauquette Park.

Mr. Marvel’s Wondertorium on Saturday May 30th at 3:30pm. The performance will be held at Market Square in Downtown Portage. There is no charge to the see performance.
