The Speaker: James S. Falco, Associate Vice President of Regional Campuses for Madison College will talk about credit and non-credit programming, business and industry training, and new initiatives offered locally, as well as opportunities for collaboration with Madison College. Come early or stay after the meeting and tour the campus, which underwent an extensive building project in summer 2019.
Madison College provides open access to quality higher education that fosters lifelong learning and success within the communities it serves. Under that Mission, 93% of Madison College students find jobs within six months of graduation.
At the Portage Campus, students can earn an associate degree, a technical diploma, a certificate or a liberal arts transfer degree in 15 different program areas. The campus also offers general degree requirements for many of Madison College’s 150 programs, allowing Portage-area students the convenience of completing those courses locally.
For business and industry, customized training is available in a variety of areas, including Leadership Development, Business and Technical Skills, and Project Management. Non-credit professional development and personal enrichment courses are offered on a wide range of topics, such as farm financials, conversational Spanish, photography, and yoga.
