Chamber Business Luncheon September 2025

Join us for this month’s Chamber Luncheon as we welcome Amy Lord, Outreach and Education Manager at the Ice Age Trail Alliance to Portage.  We are going to be taking a closer look at one of Wisconsin’s most treasured outdoor experiences – the Ice Age Trail. You will learn where the Trail winds through Portage, discover the history behind it and find out how our business can connect with trail users and visitors.

As an official Ice Age Trail Community, Portage proudly serves as a welcoming hub for hikers, outdoor enthusiasts, and tourists who explore the Trail.  Amy will also spotlight the Mammoth Hike Challenge, a statewide event held each October that draws hikers from across Wisconsin – and how you can be part of welcoming them to our community.

We’re especially excited to share that Portage will be one of the featured communities on an upcoming episode of the Discover Wisconsin television show, highlighting the Ice Age Trail, our historic downtown, and more.
