History says virtually nothing of the legendary King Arthur and his knights of the round table, and few historians believe he was real. Dr. Deborah Shepherd, author of Daily Life in Arthurian Britain, places the historic Arthur firmly in post-Roman Britain, ca. 450 A.D, and will discuss what life was like at that time. Shepherd's talk will be followed by a screening of the most historically accurate film about King Arthur. Refreshments will be served. Note: film is rated PG-13 due to violence.
