Job Skills Training
Forward Service Corporation, in partnership with AmericanWay Assisted Living and BMO Harris Bank, are putting on a Job Skills Training beginning 8/22 through 9/1 (Monday-Thursday) for people to break into the caregiving field. Five employers are guaranteeing interviews to graduates of the two-week training, including REM Wisconsin, Arc of Columbia County, Dungarvin, and Our House. Graduates will get 6 certifications, including First Aid & Choking, Fire Safety, Medication Administration, Standard Precautions, and more. There are some eligibility requirements (like receiving FoodShare benefits).
