Mystery Book Group

The Mystery Book Club meets every 2nd Tuesday at 1:30pm at the Portage Public Library. This group chooses exciting mystery books which are read and discussed at the monthly get togethers. The group is currently reading ‘The Hemmingway Thief’ by local author Shaun Harris, who will be joining the group discussion in April. In May, the club is reading ‘The Magician’s Lie’. Club meeting for this book is May 9th. In June, the book read is ‘Murder on the Prairie’ by local author Julie Short. Book is set in WWII Sauk Prairie, with the center of the book taking place at the newly built powder plant. After a month off, the next book scheduled for August is ‘The Silent Sister’. All books are available and ready to check out from the Library.
