To Thine Own Art Be True

Meet the Artist at Tivoli Friday, July 15 from 4 - 6pm Show runs through September 2016  Laurie Mosher is a self-taught watercolor artist from Madison, and a juried member of 14 South Artists. Her paintings reveal a heightened sense of reality, vibrant colors, and a blend of detailed impressionistic brush strokes. Laurie also creates multi-media collage which combines her love of painting with poetry, literature, art, vintage photos, and metallic effects. Her art company name—To Thine Own Art—reflects her strong belief that we all have an inner creative self that calls us to “be true.” In addition to following her passion as an artist, Laurie works as a Creative Consultant, facilitating workshops in watercolor, theatre, writing, and the pursuit of a creative life in South Central Wisconsin.
