UW-Madison Singers present 'Simply the Best'

The Wisconsin Singers will transport you to a world filled with Simply the Best! American popular music artists from the past forty years. This Broadway-caliber revue will take the stage at Portage High School Auditorium on Friday May 22^nd at 7PM. The event will also showcase performances by Portage High School and Portage Middle School Swing Choirs. A portion of the proceeds from the show will go to support the participating groups.
 
The Wisconsin Singers show has something for everyone in the family to enjoy, entertaining audiences with a big band sound, stellar vocals, and spectacular dance performed by the top talents from UW-Madison.  Staged by Broadway choreographers and arranged by the writer of NBC’s “The Sing-off” this event is sure to be a crowd favorite. Simply the Best! highlights more than sixty songs from the Beatles and Madonna to Taylor Swift and One Direction. Kids of all ages will enjoy appearances by Olaf (Frozen) and Aladdin. During Wisconsin Singers’ tribute to the UW’s Fifth Quarter, Badger fans feel like they are at the big game as they sing along with Swingtown, Tequila! and On Wisconsin! This impressive production has something for all ages and musical tastes!
