Salary Information: Department: Job Description: The Madison College School of Technologies and Trades is seeking a Limited-Term, Part-Time Lab Coordinator – Welding to support its expanding hands-on training program offerings through the Madison College - Portage Branch Campus. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a shop environment and contributing to student learning by ensuring labs are well-prepared, safe, and fully equipped for daily instruction. Working closely with faculty, the Lab Coordinator supports course delivery by overseeing inventory and procurement of supplies, maintaining tools and equipment, and helping uphold safety standards across the lab. This position is an important part of the student experience, helping create a structured and well-run environment where students can focus on developing real-world technical skills. Position Details: Limited Term: This position is a Limited-Term position through May 31, 2027. Expected Progression: This position includes an expected progression plan. Upon meeting departmental criteria, you will be eligible to receive a $1.00 per hour increase. Schedule: This is a 25-hour-per-week, 52 weeks per year position. Work hours typically occur between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. The coordinator will work with their supervisor and faculty to establish a consistent semester schedule, which may vary in how hours are distributed across the week. Location: This position works onsite at the Portage Enterprise Center in Portage Wisconsin.
